Jake Charles Wilson passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2017. He was born on July 12, 1983, in Mesquite, Texas, and was the cherished son of Charles and Diane Wilson.
Jake grew up Terrell and attended Terrell schools. Jake graduated from Terrell High School in 2001. Jake loved being involved with the Boy Scouts where he achieved the level of Eagle Scout. He attended the Desoto Fire Academy to become a fireman. At the age of 20, Jake met Brandi Sadler. Jake and Brandi were married at New Frontiers Cowboy Church where he and Brandi became praise and worship leaders and eventually Children’s Pastors.
Jake was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting with friends and his dad, Charley. He was fun to be around and loved life. His relationships with God and his family were the most important relationships in his life.
Jake had the opportunity to learn the gas pipeline industry. He was very successful and made many friends he called family. Everyone who knew Jake loved him and was extremely sad when Jake lost his life in a car accident.
Jake left a legacy of love and generosity for his family to carry in the hearts he loved: including his parents, Charles and Diane; wife, Brandi; his children: Jacob Elisha, Joshua, Sariah, Danielle, and Justice; as well as parents-in-law, aunts, uncles, extended family, church family, colleagues and a host of friends who miss him dearly.

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
