On Monday, July 26th, the Jake Wilson Memorial Foundation, Inc. met at JakeE's Riding Round Up in Kaufman, Texas. The Foundation Board met to tour the facility and to present the Founder and Director, Jana Ewing Syvrud with a donation. We found this facility to be clean and organized and very welcoming. This Therapeutic Equine Facility offers specialized programs for Veterans, Elderly, Special Children at Risk, and others living with Special Needs. It was quite impressive to see the level of compassion and care and attention to detail at this healing center. As we walked thru the tack room, welcome center, and started to meet the animals we paused for a moment in the Prayer Garden and took a moment to thank our God for our loved ones. God invented networking and we are quite thankful for the path HE has laid before us. We enjoyed this opportunity to connect with Jana as we share her passion to reach out to others dealing with personal challenges.

The Jake C Wilson Memorial Foundation would like to invite you to visit our websitewww.jakecwilson.com. The Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of our Son, Jake Charles Wilson. Jake went to Mexico to work and was in an automobile accident and did not survive. Jake was a Children's Pastor and sang in the Praise Team at New Frontier's Cowboy Church. We have an annual Bass fishing tournament at Lake Fork, Texas at this event we offer a free kid fish and the Texas Parks and Wildlife are there with us to help the children learn the art of catching fish. Jake loved all children. He and his wife Brandi had 3 biological children and were in the process of adopting 2 sisters at the time of his death. We are heartbroken at the loss of our Son; but we have found that by helping others we find some comfort. God is with us and we welcome His divine appointments for our Foundation.
