Jake Charles Wilson, born July 12, 1983, in Mesquite, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2017. He was the beloved son of Charles and Diane Wilson.
Jake grew up in Terrell, Texas, where he attended local schools, graduating from Terrell High School in 2001. An accomplished Boy Scout, Jake achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Following his passion for public service, he attended the Desoto Fire Academy to pursue a career as a firefighter.
At 20, Jake met Brandi Sadler, who would become his wife and partner in both life and ministry. The couple served as praise and worship leaders and later as Children's Pastors at New Frontiers Cowboy Church, where they were married.
An avid outdoorsman, Jake cherished time spent fishing and hunting with friends and his father, Charley. Known for his vibrant personality and zest for life, Jake prioritized his relationships with God and family above all else. Jake found success in the gas pipeline industry, where he built a network of colleagues he considered family. His warm personality endeared him to all who knew him, making his untimely passing in a car accident a profound loss to many.
Jake's legacy of love and generosity lives on through his survivors: his parents, Charles and Diane; wife, Brandi; children Jacob Elisha, Joshua, Sariah, Danielle, and Justice; parents-in-law; aunts; uncles; extended family; church family; colleagues; and numerous friends. His memory will be cherished by all whose lives he touched.

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
